Apple has launched three iPhones in a row in 2018. In this scenario, it may get confusing for the customers to pick the phone of their preferences. Well, there are differences among all of these three handsets. These differences are based on phone and screen sizes, build, number of rear cameras and color variations the phones are available in. However, there are a lot of features which all these handsets share. Let’s talk about those common features.
IPhone XS, XS Max and XR all come with the A-12 Bionic processor which is the latest ones being used in the iPhones. This process has amazing computation capability and it allows the users to run multiple apps in the devices quite smoothly. The two performance cores of this process are 15 percent faster than the processor used in the iPhone X. The four efficiency cores make the process 50% faster.
The main camera
The iPhone XR doesn’t have a telephoto/zoom lens which is available in the iPhone XS and XS Max. However, it has 12-megapixel f/1.8 primary camera which is the same camera used in the iPhone XS and XS Max. According to Apple, all of the three models use an all-new sensor which can produce photos with far greater dynamic range and less noise when there is no sufficient amount of light. These phones can record videos of 4K video at 60 fps and 1080p slo-mo at 240 fps.
Front-facing TrueDepth camera
This camera makes it easier to take high quality photos of the face. This camera measures the depth and maps the face to identify the true Face ID.
True Tone, wide-color displays
The display technology used among these sets may be different but all of the sets use Apple’s True Tone tech. this feature allows the display’s temperature to be matched with the ambient lighting around the phone. This feature is also capable of showing wide P3 color gamut.
Face ID system
The classic home button is not a feature in the 2018’s iPhones but the Face ID system is sped up in order to make the unlocking a quicker process. The Face ID system is powered by faster secure enclave and smarter face-scanning algorithms.
According to Apple, the 2018’s iPhones have faster Qi charging capability as compared to iPhone X. However, no clearer numbers are available in this regard.
